The Honda MSX125 (Mini Street X-treme 125) is part mini-bike, part motorcycle, with engaging performance matched to confident handling and styling that combines a sense of fun with a tough, urban edge. The Honda MSX125 is powered by a well-proven and efficient 125cc fuel-injected 4-stroke engine and also features a motorcycle-style four-speed gearbox and clutch.

Honda is using the same engine as the Honda Wave 125i for the MSX125 for which already a good amount of accessories are available. Of course the Honda MSX125 will generate a complete new market for Thai and foreign accessories and modifying parts manufacturers who are already working on parts as most of them had specs of the Honda MSX125 months ago.

The Honda MSX125 will cost something between 65,500 to 66,500 THB (the price can still be changed as I understand).

The kawasaki KSR is easy to modify, and many engine tuning kits are available – also the KSR has a carburetor while the Honda MSX125 has fuel-injection. Fuel-injection means headaches for budget modifiers.

It's true that a carburetor is much easier to work with for amateur bike tuners, but we can expect much more accessories for fuel-injection systems pretty soon. Also a fuel-injection system as the PGM-FI as we can find on most Honda motorcycles now-a-day are capable to tolerate and compensate for a much wider fueling range.

The first versions of fuel-injection systems found on small motorcycles where not capable to compensate for something like different air-filter or exhaust system. The current generation of fuel-injection systems for small motorcycles are much more technological evolved.

One problem I love it ! Guess what all bikes MSX 125 are made in Thailand but they can NOT deliver me a yellow one !

Yes, some colors are for export only. Personally I also like the yellow color....

The standard drive chain on the Honda MSX125 is a DID 420D with 106 links. The stock front sprocket is 15 teeth and the rear is a 34 teeth sprocket.

The chain slack is standard Honda which is 30 to 40mm...
