I just stopped by my Local Honda Dealer in Bangkok (Thepparak Road) the other day, and was told that a new Honda 300cc Scooter would hit the market mid January 2013. No detailed information about price and looks, but if it is like the PCX Forza 300 they sell in Japan, I am certainly interested to buy, if the price is not too high.

The rumor of a 300cc Honda scooter is not a new one, some say it will be the new 2013 Honda Forza 300 others say that it will be a complete new model...

Today (Wednesday 9 January) Honda has a dealer day/meeting, on which they normally inform dealers about new products and marketing strategies. The average consumer probably have to wait until 30 January, when Honda will show it's complete line-up of models at the Bangkok Motorbike Fest 2013 at Central World in Bangkok.

That is great news. Honda NSS300 Forza C-ABS as the new high end scooter for Honda in Thailand.
Competing with Yamaha Tmax and the new BMW 600 c and 650 GT.

I checked the price in my country. Only 5800 euro that mean converted 232.000 baht. My country is heavenly taxed.
If this motorbike will be made in Thailand than the price would be less than 200.000 baht.

Given also the fact that the new Honda CBR500R is selling for only 204.000. Maybe the price should be a little bit more
than double the current PCX150I so times 77.000 which means around 150.000 baht. It looks likie a big PCX.
So maybe between 150.000- 200.000 baht. I think 180.000 baht sounds great.

I will be a great addition to Honda Product range in Thailand. I think it will sell like candy.

Today i saw the first Forza 300 by a dealer in Takhli near Sakon Sawan.

Im on a round trip from Pattaya to Chiang Mai and near our hotel was a big Honda Dealer. So i thought to go in and have look, and lucky the new Forza was next to the dor.

The salesclerk told me, the bike arrived yesterday - so really brand new.

He gave the price 165,000 Baht. Sorry i forgot to ask if registration and first insurance is included.

There was only one in black. But it is also available in white and red.

I think this price, including ABS is the sentence of death for the SYM 300.

Hope, when i come back to Pattaya next weekend, i can get the bike there.

Just got my Forza today…!

I took the black one because it looks more bold than the other colours. Red and white are not available, now. Honda Hua Hin told me, that red and white will be available next months.

My former bike was a PCX 125, which I loved. I only missed enough storage space under the seat. The Forza has far more space.

The first driving experience today was quite exiting. The Forza feels good and powerful. It was quite windy today in Hua Hin, but the Forza is very stable. The PCX was already good. The seat position is more comfortable and relaxed than on the PCX 125.

The Forza is quite heavier and you have to be more carefully when manoeuvring. But I had no problems in town traffic or on bike parking lots.

The are no accessories available now. The brochure has some quite interesting items listed. Perhaps I will opt for the Mugen muffler…

Some Bangkok and Nonthaburi Honda dealers are selling at Honda's MSRP of 159000฿ while the usual price gouging suspects are asking 165000฿.

Geez. One can spend more than 6000 baht on a good night out. If the service is good is it worth all the hassle of finding a different dealer.
Oh and the R stands for recommended.

Going for 165000 in Chaing Mai. Super boring bike, looks like a fat PCX.
