It's always difficult predicting when a motorcycle manufacturer will introduce a new model, but, with the 33rd Bangkok International Motorshow coming up, we expect that Yamaha Thailand will use that opportunity to launch the Yamaha FZ8N in Thailand.

Yamaha Thailand already “unofficially” released the English Owner's Manual for the Yamaha FZ8N, and the Thai/English Parts Catalog for the Yamaha FZ8N.

We can also comfirm that one of the colors will be Matt Grey "Metalic" as you can see in our Yamaha Picture album.

Yamaha Thailand, the last time we had contact talked about a price of about 480,000 THB for the Yamaha FZ8N. This price can be a bit higher and lower, we hope like probably the rest of you that the price is a bit lower...

The Yamaha FZ8N in matt grey is a sure thing, but we expect that Yamaha probably will also introduce another color. Rumors are that it will be a FZ8N in matt black...

Ok, I visited the Bangkok motorshow and looked at the Kawasaki Z1000 and the Yamaha FZ8N, both marvelous machines but which one should I buy?

Anybody can help me with the positives and the negatives?

The Yamaha FZ8N is baht 480,000 and the Kawasaki Z1000 is baht 585,000, what is 105K difference. Lots of goodies I can buy with that amount of money

The Kawasaki Z1000 is more powerful (136 horsepower) compared with the Yamaha FZ8N (105 horsepower), but what you going to do with the extra 31 horsepower any serious speeding is a high risk gambling game in Thailand.

And as you suggest, for 100,000 THB you can buy a good motorcycle suit, helmet and some crash protection for your new motorcycle.
