Bought an 2000 Ducati ST4 a few weeks ago having pondered long and hard over what to replace my trusty Honda Africa Twin with, and feeling the need for more speed. A couple of days on a Triumph Sprint ST had convinced me that s sport tourer was where it's at for me and a test told me I needed the Ducati ST4. Having fallen in love with the V-twin format I figured that I'd be depriving myself not to won the original and best – i.e. a Ducati. Imagine my surprise at finding myself butchering sliders and chamfering exhausts in a unimaginable fashion in a matter of days, all in nearly as much afforded as the beloved Twin offered. I guess that would pretty much define complicity, which after all is what us mere mortals should probably be looking for in a motorcycle.
Everything what they said about the Ducati ST4 is true, and I love it. Ducati rocks!
