Ducati and Hero Motors Sign Contract for Engine Parts

Indian motorcycle manufacturer Hero Motors has signed a contract with Ducati to supply engine parts. At first this may sound a little odd, but the fact here is that Hero Motor Corp, particularly the transmission division of the Hero Group, has bagged a contract to manufacture a key transmission component for the renowned Italian Motorcycle manufacturer Ducati.

Under this new agreement, the Indian company will supply gears for Ducati Motorcycle gearboxes.

Here Motors have been working hard on strengthening their position as a global player in the components industry and with this contract it seem that the company has successfully managed to do that. The company has invested heavily to build the necessary infrastructure to fulfill and plans to invest even more to further strengthen this infrastructure.

Currently, Hero Motors are working on expanding their business in Europe with a view to gaining more knowledge through tie-ups with European industry leaders in order to design, develop, and test their offering, which will then be mass produced.
