Owners of the Ducati Xdiavel super cruiser will have their motorcycle recalled again. Ducati say a screw is at risk of coming loose and impinging on the sidestand cut-out switch, cutting engine power.

Ducati dealers will inform customers and will replace the sidestand pivot and mounting plate.

This is the model’s second recall, the first being for a rear wheel mounting issue.

Two issues with the Thai build Ducati Xdiavel, guess I better look for another cruiser!!??

The Ducati XDiavel is a revelation for the cruiser market in terms of handling, performance and technology. It’s blisteringly quick, has masses of torque, plus the prerequisite feet-forward and belt drive components to please cruiser fans. It’s become the motorcycle the original Ducati Diavel always should have been.

We see recalls from motorcycle manufacturers as a positive thing, at least you know that a manufacturer takes quality and safety serious.
