Ducati is recalling certain model years 2014 1199 Superleggera motorcycles manufactured from 8 April 2014 through 12 November 2014. On the affected motorcycles the damper plate assemble between the primary drive gear and the clutch basket assembly could break due to fatigue, and result in the engine seizing, and the rear wheel locking up.

Ducati is also recalling certain model year 2016 XDiavel S motorcycles manufactured from 25 November 2015 to 18 May 2016. The affected motorcycles have a rear wheel that may have been incorrectly installed on the hub.

Ducati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the faulty product free of charge..
