We have no information about the Honda CBR250RR or the 350cc version launch date for Thailand. Of course when we find out more we will write about it.
As far as we now know, is that the Honda CBR250RR will be first launched in Indonesia, after that it will also be introduced to the Japanese market and after that Honda has plans for a global launch.
Not much is known about the international plans for the Indonesia built parallel-twin Honda CBR250RR. Most rumors about the Honda CBR250RR are based on assumptions that Honda would not invest in the development of a project like the sporty parallel-twin 250cc for only one country.
The Honda CBR250RR is currently available at Honda dealers throughout Indonesia for roughly 185,000 THB, which is the same price as the Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS in Thailand. Still the Honda CBR250RR is able to perform better as a sportbike, while the Kawasaki Ninja 300 wins with being the better day-to-day useful motorcycle.
The Honda CBR250RR is very sportbike/track focused, while the Kawasaki Ninja 300 is more a sportbike/sport-tourer and more street focused.
Anyway, we probably know more at the end of the first quarter of 2017 what Honda has planned for the small-capacity parallel-twin sportbike… will it remain 250cc, will it become a 300cc or even a 350cc. I personally think that if Honda has plans to go more than 300cc, they will go more closely to 400cc and offer direct competition to the popular Ducati 400cc V-twins, and KTM RC390 and others...
When will the Honda CBR250RR be sold in Thailand, anybody know anything about that?
