A small number of 2015 Yamaha's have had a recall notice served on them. It relates to the gear shift cam segment stopper that has developed a fatigue crack that could lead to gearbox failure. The motorcycles affected in Thailand include some MT-09/FZ-09 and XT1200Z Super Teneres, although given the popularity of this two motorcycles, it's going to be the Yamaha MT-09/FZ-09's that are most pressing to change. (Outside Thailand the recall involves more Yamaha models).

If you're lucky enough to own one of these machines, your dealer should have got in touch with you – if not, check with them to get it sorted out..... and remember not all MT-09/FZ-09 and XT1200Z have this fault...
