At Yamaha Thailand most people who decide which model would make if onto the Thai market seem to agree that the Yamaha FZ-07 or as it's called in Europe the MT-07 is of the menu.
According to insiders the performance tests in the foreign media is too close to the Kawasaki ER6N and therefore introducing a more expensive competitor would not generate the considered sales numbers to justify the introduction...
Also some Thai market annalists seem to have the idea that the Yamaha FZ-07 or MT-07 will have a negative affect on the sales of the Yamaha FZ-08N in Thailand....
Of course with the introduction of the super aggressive, rev happy 2015 Yamaha YZF-R6, which will be probably the most affordable most powerful sportsbike available in Thailand for the year 2015... you not need to much options... a Yamaha FZ-08N for the naked-bike sportsbike lovers and a weapon of mass destruction for the real sportsbike lovers....
