The first official pictures of the soon to be released new Yamaha YZF-R6 which will be a re-introduced to the Thai market. The official color names are basically Yamaha Blue (but with a white/cream looking fuel tank), Red, and Matt Gray Metallic which is our favorite.

People who follow our uploads of our owner's manuals would have expected that the Yamaha YZF-R6 would be reintroduced... The 2014/2015 Yamaha YZF-R6 in English language can be downloaded freely here – 2014/2015 Yamaha YZF-R6 Owners Manual in English.

Will the 2011 Yamaha YZF-R6 parts catalog work for the new 2014/2015 YZF-R6?

The price of the new relaunched Yamaha YZF-R6 will be much more competitive, compared to the Honda CBR1000RR as the YZF-R6 is like the Suzuki V-Strom 650 fully made in Japan. And therefore have the befit of the Thai – Japanese free trade-agreements.

Not forget that the 2011 model was mostly build by Indian made parts and the Honda CBR1000RR is not meeting ASEAN – Japanese free-trade-standards because of the amount of outside Japense made parts....

We have no official information on how much parts are made in China, also we also not know if the higher price of the Honda CBR1000RR is from Honda Thailand taking more profit or from import duties...
