Hi Guys
Can a stebel or similar modified horn be fitted to a sym joymax 300i ?
Does the horn have to be 12 or 24 volts.
Any help would be appreciated.

Mac,

Yes but I cannot tell you exactly where it will fit. The Nautilus is available in Thai markets like Klong Tom etc. Another option maybe a cheaper pair of aftermarket electric horns would take less space.

You'll need to fit a relay in the circuit as the horn button may not be up to handling the current. Usually any of these horns comes with a relay in the package.

Edit: Nautilus has a higher pitched air horn sound. Two electric horns make it sound more like a large luxury car. Stebel has a website where you can listen to the difference. http://www.stebel.it/stebel/products.asp?menu=products&uso=1&submenu=moto

It's always a good idea to have your horn controlled by a relay switch.
