I bought a Yamaha X-1, I love the ease of the bike. There is only one little problem; the seat’s skin material is very slippery. I borrowed a Suzuki Step before and with that bike I had no problem. What can I do?

I'm not sure where you live, but in Bangkok, you can find several shops who will replace the skin of you seat for a few hundred Baht. The better the shop the better the materials you can select from.

I even know a person who bought a cow hid at chatuchak weekend market and let a few of this seat guys re-skin his seat. His bike, a Honda Phantom 200 looks pretty cool.

Hello Lena,

In Thailand both the Yamaha X-1 and the Honda Phantom 200 are regular models. You can buy them brand new or secondhand...

Hello Nixon,

First welcome to our motorcycle group, to answer your question... You can look at links/index.php?category=Motorcycle_Parts where we list normally all motorcycle part dealers.

We only list recommended dealers, so if you have any problem with them report it back and we will remove them...

With kind regards,

Motorcycle Thailand
