Sym has a good amount of dealers in Thailand, but, it's a bit hard to point you to a dealer without knowing where you're located.

The south of Thailand is still a bit a problem for Sym dealers, Sym has a dealer in Surat Thani (Tel. 077-288-300-1), Hat Yai and Songkhla (074-234-898), and a group who have several sales locations in the south (not sure which towns) which you can reach by the following mobile telephone numbers 085-208-5555, 080-652-8181, and 086-385-6234.

For all telephone numers you get the best result if you or a friend calls them in Thai... for the price, I'm not 100% sure, but if my memory is correct it's less than 200,000 THB including registration and one year insurance... (Again I'm sure the dealer(s) you contact know the details much better...)

Only half of the original question was answered.

In Thailand, how much is the 400i ?

Do you know if there is a dealer in or near Chiang Mai?

Thanks.

We not sure how much the Sym Maxsym 400i costs, also the scooter likely cost more in Chiang Mai than it does in Bangkok due to the added transport cost.

For dealers nationwide you best call the Thai Sym distributor at telephone 02-613-9727 (best result, if somebody who speaks Thai calls).

yes, there is a dealership in Chiang Mai, near the Arcade Bus Station.
Mr Wut speaks good English.

In the past few years I have written to all of the major bike companies in Thailand.
Only Kawasaki and Sym have replied.
