I'm Tew, I got my Kawasaki EX250R Ninja 250R a few days ago, I live near Khon Kean and I found that some bolts on my motocyc where a bit lose.

My local mechanic has no idea what the tightening torque is for the Kawasaki Ninja 250R I not want to ride back to Bangkok.

Does somebody knows how tight the bolts and nuts need to be screwed on?

Sorry for my bad english...

Hello Tew,

Kawasaki uses several tightening torques for all sorts of bolts and nuts, you did not specify which was the problem. But I looked into the Kawasaki EX250R service manual and found a table with relating tightening torque to thread diameter. This lists the basic torque for the bolts and nuts. You cannot use this table for engine parts, if it is a engine part which is not tight enough you have to specify which bolt or nut it is, and I give the correct torque.

It is maybe also a good idea that you call Kawasaki, as one of your first service checks is as I belief after 800 kilometers, Khon Kaen is about 400 to 500 kilometers from Bangkok....
