Well maybe the Thai police will like them better than the Tigers they drive around here.Maybe Kawasaki have offered free motorbike helmets for them to wear, where as Tiger would not.
Lets see all the police wearing there new helmets like the rest of us.all these new signs must have cost a lot. helmets 100%
Very interesting.
Do you know how many they ordered?
I'll try again.
Do you know how many KLXs the police want?
And another thing; what about the suitability of these bikes given that the seat height just may be too much for short legged folk?
It's still unclear how many units the Kawasaki deal involves, we also find it a bit annoying that the details of the deal are not made public yet.
For specifications, a Kawasaki KLX250 is only 45mm (1.77”) higher than a Tiger Boxer 250 RS motorcycle, while a Kawasaki KLX125 is 15mm lower than the Tiger motorcycle.
" ...... we also find it a bit annoying that the details of the deal are not made public yet."
Agree. Any spending of public money should be transparent, but ............... !
Kawasaki Thailand signed a deal to sell Kawasaki KLX motorcycles to the Thai Royal Police, more information and pictures will soon follow.
