No information from Kawasaki Thailand office, the only news from Kawasaki Thailand is that they are going to launch the Kawasaki Z1000 in October 2011. The target price will be 595,000 THB.

In Japan motorcycles with a engine smaller then 400cc get a special tax reduction, which make it possible to compete against the 650cc models.

Selling the ER4n or the Kawasaki Ninja 400R doesn't make sense in Thailand, as the production cost is identical too the 650cc models.

The 400's are the same bike with a smaller stroke and piston size but still the same weight - yet with less power. Seems to me at the same given price under the Thailand tax structure, I'll take the full power 650 then the detuned lower power unit at the same price any day of the week.

Yes correct, same bike design like 650.
You might consider also for it's fuel consumption.
Looking on the advantage of power, i'll be more to 650cc side.

Obviously it isn't going t happen here in Thailand, but if they did sell an Er4N for around 180,000 Baht, then I'm sure there would be lots of takers....and it probably wouldn't be too difficult to convert to 650 if it appealed.

For this price their will be a huge amount of buyer I think, me personnaly, if the 400cc ninja come out, I sell my Dtracker 250cc for buy it.

Why people do not make a petition for ask Kawasaki to sell the 400cc model in Thailand ???
