According to reports, Actor George Clooney, known from Ocean's movies, and his girlfriend, Sarah Larson have been involved in a motorcycle accident, and were treated in hospital - after the bike was struck by a car in New Jersey.

According to People.com, George's rep said: Clooney suffered a hairline fracture of a rib and road rash, and Larson suffered a broken foot.

Clooney was driving his Harley-Davidson north on Boulevard East in Weehawken, New Jersey, in the afternoon when he was hit by an oncoming car, that apparently attempted to make a right turn from the left lane.

Sarah Larson reportedly had several cuts on her face and an injury to her foot and was taken away by ambulance.

Clooney was seen driving away from the scene on his Harley - and then met Larson at the hospital.

Clooney's spokesperson Stan Rosenfield commented, "He's doing fine. He has a broken rib, it's very painful and it'll take a long time to heal."

Arnold Schwarzenegger has landed himself in hospital the same way (twice), as have Billy Idol, David Hasselhoff and Keanu Reeves.

"Due to conflicting statements of driver and the lack of evidence to support either driver's version, no moving violation summons have been issued to either party at this time," the cops told
