If what I understand is correct the "new" 150 engine has the bore offset by 4 degrees like the CBR250 to reduce friction, so a 150 barrel will not fit directly onto a 125.

72,500 in Pattaya, which presumably includes freighting from Bgk.
Just confirmed main dealer in Chiang Mai 78,900.
Seems to be an expensive 'add on' per bike for freight considering they put so many of the bikes on the trucks.
So be it. Nice bike though.

We are selling them for 85k, but I'm guessing some dealers might have them as low as 80 and others as high as 90. Shop around and find the price and dealer that are right for you. We sold the first three we got yesterday within two hours of their arrival.

From a dealer in BKK. Depends on all the "extras" like registration, insurance etc..

Every bike or scooter is more expensive the more you go up north or down to the south. Honda is actually one of the cheapest if it comes to kilometers and price increase.

Sorry bang,

you are absolute wrong, because Honda isn't the cheapest - Honda is the most expensive.

Really, what costs a Yamaha Nouvo 135 in Bangkok and what does it cost in Chiang Mai?

Hello bang,

Kawasaki asked the recommended price from pricelist here, Suzuki asked 1,200 THB more, Yamaha asked 2,000 THB more (for Nouvo) and Honda asked 8,000 THB more (CBR250 14,500 more).
I think now you know what I never buy...

Good luck for you.

Maybe it's about time 'Motorcycle Thailand' corrected and updated this;

"Honda PCX 150i Front disc brake, spoked wheels, 150cc, PGM-FI (fuel injection)
March/April 2012

Honda PCX 150i Front disc brake, alloy wheels, 125cc, PGM-FI (fuel injection)
March/April 2012"

And maybe 'Motorcycle Thailand' could list the suggested retail price.
At least this would give us an official benchmark.
Thanks guys.

I saw the new PCX 150i yesterday at Nat Motor in Chiang Mai when I was getting my 2 year old PCX serviced. I didn't enquire about the price, but the bike looks the same as mine with the exception of the red seat and trim and the '150i' chrome designator.

Frankly, the red seat and trim looks a little oddball and was probably done to give a visual indicator that this is the new 150i. That's my take on the red but there's no accounting for taste so some people will think it's gorgeous.

The price of 72,000 baht quoted by another contributor is the same price I paid for my PCX two years ago, so kudos to Honda for maintaining the price with the new engine. I'd love to ride mine and then immediately get on a 150i to see how much of difference the new engine makes. I'll report back if I can find the time to do that.

Even if the new PCX150i is superior in acceleration and top speed, I'll be sticking with my two year old PCX for around town. It has that one option that's so difficult to find in a new bike: it's fully paid for!

What I'm really waiting for is a 250cc class Honda with an upright riding position. The CBR250 isn't for me with its bent over cafe style but if Honda or Kawasaki came out with a standard naked bike in the 250cc category, I'd be there in a minute.

Hello Big Guy,

maybe the new Suzuki Inazuma 250GW will be what you're looking for.

The Suzuki Inazuma 250GW would indeed be a nice motorcycle, and we hope that Suzuki will introduce it soon on the Thai market.

Big Guy,
Maybe Honda's soon to be released CRF250L is the bike for you.
It will be for me!

Nice!

Can you clarify the wheel situation please?
Your prices list suggest there are two options and two prices; spoked or alloy

- Honda PCX 150i Front disc brake, spoked wheels, 150cc, PGM-FI (fuel injection) March/April 2012
- Honda PCX 150i Front disc brake, alloy wheels, 150cc, PGM-FI (fuel injection)

Hello David,

Honda has first introduced the Honda PCX150i with 5-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, it's in the line of expectation that Honda will also introduce a cheaper model with spoke wheels. Of course nothing is written in stone when it comes to Honda Thailand.
