Every bike or scooter is more expensive the more you go up north or down to the south. Honda is actually one of the cheapest if it comes to kilometers and price increase.

Yes that is really bad, and that are actual prices

I saw the new PCX 150i yesterday at Nat Motor in Chiang Mai when I was getting my 2 year old PCX serviced. I didn't enquire about the price, but the bike looks the same as mine with the exception of the red seat and trim and the '150i' chrome designator.

Frankly, the red seat and trim looks a little oddball and was probably done to give a visual indicator that this is the new 150i. That's my take on the red but there's no accounting for taste so some people will think it's gorgeous.

The price of 72,000 baht quoted by another contributor is the same price I paid for my PCX two years ago, so kudos to Honda for maintaining the price with the new engine. I'd love to ride mine and then immediately get on a 150i to see how much of difference the new engine makes. I'll report back if I can find the time to do that.

Even if the new PCX150i is superior in acceleration and top speed, I'll be sticking with my two year old PCX for around town. It has that one option that's so difficult to find in a new bike: it's fully paid for!

What I'm really waiting for is a 250cc class Honda with an upright riding position. The CBR250 isn't for me with its bent over cafe style but if Honda or Kawasaki came out with a standard naked bike in the 250cc category, I'd be there in a minute.
