The Honda CBR150R - First Service

The Honda CBR150R, from our junior mechanic, has just returned from its first service, blessed with some of the changes he had requested.

Not surprisingly, the Honda CBR150R looks sportier than before. Probably I start to like the look of the 150cc sporty Honda motorcycle. I have been riding a Honda Wave 125i for a while now in the neighborhood of our company and it surprised me how easy the Honda CBR150R can manoeuvre. Triple-digit speeds are also no problem for the Honda CBR150R. It's fast and it turns into corners easily. We'd have liked shorter gearing – for sharper acceleration – but if you get that street-racer haze out of your head, you realize the tall gearing makes the motorcycle much more usable in the city.
This may be Honda's smallest motorcycle in the CBR family, but the Honda CBR150R does not sacrifice ergonomics. In traffic, it feels much easier to manoeuvre, and the seating position is not as aggressive as you would expect from a sportsbike, it strikes a good balance.

Rust has started appearing, primarily on the exhaust. Apart from that, the Honda CBR150R has been running fine. And now with a new helmet, donated by Nolan/X-Lite, our junior mechanic can take his girlfriend for weekend rides...

Good bike, love to see and hear about the mods.

However the CBR125 is the smallest of CBR and looks like it's bigger brothers
