The Honda CB223S, Honda's Answer to Retro?

<img width="200" height="154" class="floatleft" src="motorcycle.in.th/images/articles/The-Honda-CB223S_Honda-Answer-to-Retro_1.jpg" alt="" />Is the Thai motorcycle market ready for a Honda build retro-roadster bike, with a slim, lightweight body, equipped with an air-cooled 4-stroke 223cc single-cylinder engine? The Honda CB223S is one of the motorcycles models which production would likely move to Thailand in 2010.

For the Honda CB223S the keyword is “retro”, the tear-drop fuel tank the spoked wheels, the instruments, everything of the Honda CB223S radiates the sixties. The design introduced in Japan mid 2006, has since it's original introduction date received a few updates, the CB223S's exhaust emissions comply with the current regulations, the suspension, frame strength and stiffness have been improved.
The Honda CB223S engine is the low-revving air-cooled 4-stroke OHC single cylinder MD33E, which is also used for several other motorcycles in Southeast Asia. The MD33E engine with a 65.5 bore and a 66.2 stroke fueled by a basic carburetor, nothing special, but with this simple setup the Honda CB223S is able to ride over 41 kilometers on just one liter of fuel.

The CB223S will also accommodate the larger riders, with its overall length of 2.1 meter and its up-right riding position it's a motorcycle for almost any-size.
