The AGV K-4 EVO Motorcycle Helmet
The AGV K-4 EVO is the updated version of the AGV K-3, but the AGV K-4 EVO has a nicer liner and padding system that uses a more skin-friendly fabric. The weight has also been reduced by 100 grams over the old K-3 and the quality has been improved with the usage of a higher-end 'ACF' Advanced Composite Fiber, which is nicer than most helmets at this price range that are usually made of polycarbonate.
The styling of the AGV K-4 EVO helmet has a sleek 'evil race' look to it and the fit was good on my rather large head size.
When riding with the AGV K-4 EVO helmet it was apparent that all of the product testing AGV does with multi-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi has indeed trickled down to the company's street helmets, especially the AGV K-4 EVO. The AGV K-4 EVO helmet never really buffeted at any speed and it had scads of peripheral vision.
After a few months of testing the AGV K-4 EVO motorcycle helmet, I feel that the K-4 EVO is a real bargain and it just may be one of the best values in its price range. The AGV K-4 EVO costs around 8,000 THB.
