The 2017 BMW Adventurer Tourering Motorcycles


For 2017 the 125 horsepower and 125Nm torque, 1170cc engine powers both the BMW R1200GS Exclusive and Rallye models. BMW states that its adventure tourer gets an altered catalytic converter to meet the Euro-4 emissions requirements. BMW has also updated the electronics with the new Riding Modes Pro function that offers Dynamic Pro, Enduro and Enduro Pro riding modes.

In addition to the automatic damping adjustment, the BMW R1200GS now gets self-leveling function that automatically adjusts spring preload settings. The off-road focused Rallye comes equipped with a radiator and frame guard and wide enduro-style footrests. It also features stiffer springs, larger spring struts aw well as additional suspension travel.

Both the BMW R1200GS Exclusive and BMW R1200GS Rallye get new paint schemes with an option of the brand’s motorsport livery.

The 2017 BMW F800R gets new riding modes. The two new riding modes – Rain and Road – alter the throttle response in the updated 2017 BMW F800R. The optional plug-in Dynamic mode offers a more aggressive throttle response.

The for 2017 new BMW RnineT Urban G/S break cover. Inspired by the classic BMW R80 G/S from 37 years ago, the BMW RnineT Urban G/S gets a high-placed front mudguard along with a matte-finished fuel tank. The 110 horsepower, 1170cc, air and oil-cooled boxer engine is up to standard with the latest exhaust emission standards. 320Mm front discs, 4-piston brake calipers and ABS are standard.

In 2017 the BMW G310GS adventure tourer debuts. The BMW G310GS retains the same 34 horsepower and 28Nm torque, 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the regular BMW G310R, teamed to a 6-speed gearbox.

This 313cc single-cylinder engine has a claimed top speed of over 145km/h. With standard equipment, the motorcycle tips the scales at 175.5 kilograms and has a seat height of 835mm. Compared to the BMW G310R, the BMW G310GS gets a higher riding chassis and longer suspension. It gets a LED tail light, stainless steel exhaust and ABS as standard. Optional accessories will include LED indicators and 12 Volt power outlet, among others.
