Massimo Tamburini Passed Away - A Great Loss for the Motorcycle Industry


Early this month the Italian master motorcycle designer Massimo Tamburini. Whose creations include the exotic Ducati 916 and the MV Agusta F4 has passed away at the age of 70, from lung cancer.

Mr. Massimo Tamburnini first made his mark with a revised MV Agusta Sport in 1971, working later with Bimota, before moving to the Cagiva group. It was during his stint here that he designed the Paso 750 and the Ducati 916.His last works include the MV Agusta F4 Brutale and the MV Agusta F3 675. The work of motorcycling has lost one of the world greatest designers.
