The Harley-Davidson Street 750 - Budget Cruiser in Thailand

The Harley-Davidson Street 750 is a terrific motorcycle but to say it directly it has some small issues. The Harley-Davidson Street 750 we saw had some untidy wiring and the overall design and finishing that lacks what you would expect from a Harley-Davidson.

The Street 750 has a very nice smooth liquid-cooled, 60° SOHC V-twin, Revolution X engine, good torque and low center of gravity, suspension and ground clearance coped with Thai roads better than any other Harley. It has a good turning circle, easily to control and comfortable for somebody around 165cm, but not so much for anybody 180cm (with long legs).
The Harley-Davidson Street 750 costs in Thailand 549,000 THB, what is is not a bad price for a Harley-Davidson cruiser. Before the cheapest Harley you could buy in Thailand was the Sportster 883 SuperLow (which is still available 629,000 THB).

With the official Harley-Davidson accessories catalog you get over 16 pages of parts to customize you Harley-Davidson Street 750, and we also seen a few aftermarket suppliers also offering Street 750 specific customize parts. Only from the Harley catalog you you can select over 5 types of rear-view mirrors. This makes the H-D Street 750 a very easy to customize motorcycle..

We agree that our observations of the Harley-Davidson Street 750 shown so early was maybe not exactly how the final products for Thai customers would be finished.....

Most people in Thailand say that Kawasaki outsmarted Harley with the introduction of the Kawasaki Vulcan S (650cc) for only 285,000 THB... This model will be soon introduced at the new Harley-Davidson manufacturing home country (India) for not much more....
