Dakar Rally 2014 Route Released
The 35th edition of the legendary Dakar Rally will be held in South America for the sixth consecutive year in 2014. The Dakar rally will commence on the 5th of January 2014 and will culminate on the 18th, with a rest day scheduled on the 11th of January.For the last two years, the stages of the Dakar rally have been held across Argentina, Chile and Peru. The next year, though, the Peruvian stages will be substituted by those set in Bolivia, which will be the fourth South American country to be a part of the rally.
Apart from the changes in the route, the organizers have also promised longer special stages and marathon stages where the riders are on their own.
