The BMW Stunt G310 - BMW's 300cc Bike Revealed
The first official pictures of a BMW 300cc road bike, ahead of the expected launch of a the new 300cc roadster at the Milan Motor Show next month. The BMW Stunt G310 represents the basis of new range of 310cc single-cylinder motorcycles which BMW hope will massively boost the German company's global sales.The BMW G310 was shown at the Sao Paulo motorcycle trade show in Brazil tree days ago, and gives a clear indication of the importance of this new machine to BMW in emerging markets. The BMW G310 has been designed and engineerd by BMW, but the production motorcycle will be built in a joint venture with BMW's Indian industrial partner, TVS.
At the heart of the BMW Stunt G310 is an all-new 310cc single-cylinder, DOHC liquid-cooled four-stroke engine, designed specifically for this motorcycle. The steel-trellis chassis and cast aluminum swingarm are also completely new, and likely to be shared components in what experts believes will be a family of new 310cc motorcycles.
The garish color scheme is made up of the classic BMW motorsport color white, red and blue in combination with the Brazilian national flag as a nod to where the BMW Stunt G310 was revealed.
